Reisdetails van De Bruiloft!
Omschrijving:
Voor een Khmer is het heel gewoon, maar voor mij was het vroeg om gistermorgen om 5.00 uur op te staan. Om ruim hlaf 7 ben ik per Tuk Tuk vertrokken naar Daimond eiland. De naam zegt het al, het is de mooiste en duurste plek in Phnom Penh om je bruiloft te vieren. Aangekomen was ik gelijk onder de indruk van de mooie aankleding. Veel bloemen, orgideen en levensgrote foto's van het bruidspaar. Ik wam binnen in een enorm grote zaal. Hartelijk begroet door de familie. Het hele gebeuren was een aaneenschakeling van rituelen. Mooi om te zien maar het duurde allemaal wel lang vond ik. De dames zagen er werkelijk allemaal prachtig uit! Mooi om naar te kijken. En wat veel mensen! Tussendoor werd een onbijt geserveerd, rijst tsoep en gestoomde broodjes rijk gevuld met vlees. De bruid en bruidegom hebben zich in de morgen meerderemalen omgekleed.Aan het einde van alles kregen we een lunch aangeboden. 's Middags kon iedereen zijn gang gaan. En aan het einde van de middag werd iedereen weer verwacht omgekleed en wel. Tijd om te dineren. Ik heb eens even ruw weg geteld er waren zeker 400 gasten! Er speelde tijdens het eten een live band. Khmer muziek, het past hier maar ik hoor liever Blues. Al met al was het een belevinis om de bruiloft mee te maken. Later eens aan Jan vragen wat de rituelen allemaal betekenen.
Na het diner kon er gedanst worden. Terug gekomen in het hotel kon ik niet op internet komen vandaar vandaag het verslag vanuit een intenet cafe.

Reisdetails van De Bruiloft!
Omschrijving:
Voor een Khmer is het heel gewoon, maar voor mij was het vroeg om gistermorgen om 5.00 uur op te staan. Om ruim hlaf 7 ben ik per Tuk Tuk vertrokken naar Daimond eiland. De naam zegt het al, het is de mooiste en duurste plek in Phnom Penh om je bruiloft te vieren. Aangekomen was ik gelijk onder de indruk van de mooie aankleding. Veel bloemen, orgideen en levensgrote foto's van het bruidspaar. Ik wam binnen in een enorm grote zaal. Hartelijk begroet door de familie. Het hele gebeuren was een aaneenschakeling van rituelen. Mooi om te zien maar het duurde allemaal wel lang vond ik. De dames zagen er werkelijk allemaal prachtig uit! Mooi om naar te kijken. En wat veel mensen! Tussendoor werd een onbijt geserveerd, rijst tsoep en gestoomde broodjes rijk gevuld met vlees. De bruid en bruidegom hebben zich in de morgen meerderemalen omgekleed.Aan het einde van alles kregen we een lunch aangeboden. 's Middags kon iedereen zijn gang gaan. En aan het einde van de middag werd iedereen weer verwacht omgekleed en wel. Tijd om te dineren. Ik heb eens even ruw weg geteld er waren zeker 400 gasten! Er speelde tijdens het eten een live band. Khmer muziek, het past hier maar ik hoor liever Blues. Al met al was het een belevinis om de bruiloft mee te maken. Later eens aan Jan vragen wat de rituelen allemaal betekenen.
Na het diner kon er gedanst worden. Terug gekomen in het hotel kon ik niet op internet komen vandaar vandaag het verslag vanuit een intenet cafe.

Reisdetails van De Bruiloft!
Omschrijving:
Voor een Khmer is het heel gewoon, maar voor mij was het vroeg om gistermorgen om 5.00 uur op te staan. Om ruim hlaf 7 ben ik per Tuk Tuk vertrokken naar Daimond eiland. De naam zegt het al, het is de mooiste en duurste plek in Phnom Penh om je bruiloft te vieren. Aangekomen was ik gelijk onder de indruk van de mooie aankleding. Veel bloemen, orgideen en levensgrote foto's van het bruidspaar. Ik wam binnen in een enorm grote zaal. Hartelijk begroet door de familie. Het hele gebeuren was een aaneenschakeling van rituelen. Mooi om te zien maar het duurde allemaal wel lang vond ik. De dames zagen er werkelijk allemaal prachtig uit! Mooi om naar te kijken. En wat veel mensen! Tussendoor werd een onbijt geserveerd, rijst tsoep en gestoomde broodjes rijk gevuld met vlees. De bruid en bruidegom hebben zich in de morgen meerderemalen omgekleed.Aan het einde van alles kregen we een lunch aangeboden. 's Middags kon iedereen zijn gang gaan. En aan het einde van de middag werd iedereen weer verwacht omgekleed en wel. Tijd om te dineren. Ik heb eens even ruw weg geteld er waren zeker 400 gasten! Er speelde tijdens het eten een live band. Khmer muziek, het past hier maar ik hoor liever Blues. Al met al was het een belevinis om de bruiloft mee te maken. Later eens aan Jan vragen wat de rituelen allemaal betekenen.
Na het diner kon er gedanst worden. Terug gekomen in het hotel kon ik niet op internet komen vandaar vandaag het verslag vanuit een intenet cafe.

Reisdetails van De Bruiloft!
Omschrijving:
Voor een Khmer is het heel gewoon, maar voor mij was het vroeg om gistermorgen om 5.00 uur op te staan. Om ruim hlaf 7 ben ik per Tuk Tuk vertrokken naar Daimond eiland. De naam zegt het al, het is de mooiste en duurste plek in Phnom Penh om je bruiloft te vieren. Aangekomen was ik gelijk onder de indruk van de mooie aankleding. Veel bloemen, orgideen en levensgrote foto's van het bruidspaar. Ik wam binnen in een enorm grote zaal. Hartelijk begroet door de familie. Het hele gebeuren was een aaneenschakeling van rituelen. Mooi om te zien maar het duurde allemaal wel lang vond ik. De dames zagen er werkelijk allemaal prachtig uit! Mooi om naar te kijken. En wat veel mensen! Tussendoor werd een onbijt geserveerd, rijst tsoep en gestoomde broodjes rijk gevuld met vlees. De bruid en bruidegom hebben zich in de morgen meerderemalen omgekleed.Aan het einde van alles kregen we een lunch aangeboden. 's Middags kon iedereen zijn gang gaan. En aan het einde van de middag werd iedereen weer verwacht omgekleed en wel. Tijd om te dineren. Ik heb eens even ruw weg geteld er waren zeker 400 gasten! Er speelde tijdens het eten een live band. Khmer muziek, het past hier maar ik hoor liever Blues. Al met al was het een belevinis om de bruiloft mee te maken. Later eens aan Jan vragen wat de rituelen allemaal betekenen.
Na het diner kon er gedanst worden. Terug gekomen in het hotel kon ik niet op internet komen vandaar vandaag het verslag vanuit een intenet cafe.

[description] => Vandaag 25 januari maak ik mijn dagboek vast aan. Op 3 maart vertrek ik naar Cambodja. Ik logeer net als eerdere keren bij Jan en Narrat in Guesthous Orchidee in Sihanoukville. Mooi om te zien maar het duurde allemaal wel lang vond ik. De dames zagen er werkelijk allemaal prachtig uit! Mooi om naar te kijken. En wat veel mensen! Tussendoor werd een onbijt geserveerd, rijst tsoep en gestoomde broodjes rijk gevuld met vlees. De bruid en bruidegom hebben zich in de morgen meerderemalen omgekleed.Aan het einde van alles kregen we een lunch aangeboden. 's Middags kon iedereen zijn gang gaan. En aan het einde van de middag werd iedereen weer verwacht omgekleed en wel. Tijd om te dineren. Ik heb eens even ruw weg geteld er waren zeker 400 gasten! Er speelde tijdens het eten een live band. Khmer muziek, het past hier maar ik hoor liever Blues. Al met al was het een belevinis om de bruiloft mee te maken. Later eens aan Jan vragen wat de rituelen allemaal betekenen.
Na het diner kon er gedanst worden. Terug gekomen in het hotel kon ik niet op internet komen vandaar vandaag het verslag vanuit een intenet cafe.
